Tribute & Message From The Family

Mary Hall

Mary Hall met her loving Lord and Savior face to face on September 5th, 2017 at the age of 60. Mary is predeceased by her father Robert A. Hall and her brother Robert A. Hall Jr. Mary was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 30th, 1956 and graduated from Marietta High School in 1974. She continued her education at Young Harris College and Kennesaw College as well as Marietta Cobb Area Vocational Technical School.

Mary worked for Control Data and S.P. Richards and in July of 1988 joined Air Liquide (Liquid Air) from which she recently retired.

Mary enjoyed spending time with friends and family and she loved to talk about Jesus when she had the opportunity. She also loved reading her Bible and some of her favorite verses were Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." She also worked as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her mother Nell Oliver Hall, sister Sally Strong and her husband Jason Strong of Oviedo, Florida, and brother Kirk Alexander Hall and his wife Konnie Faye Hall of Saluda, North Carolina. Mary is also survived by five nieces and nephews: Robert Mather Hood, Emily Grace Hall, Hannah Faye Hall, Luke Alexander Hall and his wife Hannah Marie Hall, James Levi Hall, and one grand-nephew Kaiden Robert Hood as well as other relatives.

A praise service to honor Mary will be held at Grace Community Church on Sunday, September 10th at 3:00 pm with reception following. The service will be officiated by Pastor John Harris. For those who would like to honor Mary, flowers are welcome or a donation may be given to Grace Community Church or a charity of your choice.

Condolence & Memory Journal

My heart breaks reading this news I happened upon tonight. I have been looking for my old college friend for years. I just thought about Mary when I was reserarching possible service dog groups in the Atlanta area and did a Google search. After typing in Marys name and the last city I knew her to reside in, her obituary came up first. My heart sank. I have always remembered Mary as a very kind hearted soul that loved God, her family, her dogs and all the dogs in the world! We had so much fun being sorority sisters at Young Harris College and we kept with each other for at least 20 years after we graduated. I dont know how we lost touch over the last two decades, but I often thought of sweet Mary when Id see dogs catching frisbees or service puppies in training or remember something fun we did when we were both living in the Atlanta suburbs. Im sending my heartfelt condolences to Marys family.
