Obituary

Olive (January 17, 1932 – September 23, 2016) passed away at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Estero Belize, she spent the first 36 years of her life between Estero, Corozal and Belize city before immigrating to the United States in 1969. She spent a short time in New York waiting for her husband to join her, after which they travelled by train to California. Olive would call California home for the most of the rest of her life. She made several trips back to Belize and several to Europe, stayed briefly in several states visiting her children and grandchildren and finally moved to Atlanta Georgia in 2014 to live with her daughter.
Olive is survived by a large family of 10 children, 27 grand children, 15 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Her children and their spouses; Charles, Edward, George, Reginald and his wife Aracelli, Eugene, Steve and his wife Dona, Carla, Carl and his wife Sandra, Carolyn and her husband Jaxon and Adrian and his wife Rebekka. Her 27 grandchildren; Charles Jr, Vincent, Mia, Edward Jr, Phillip, Jonathan, Alexander, Kirk, Dwayne, Jahmai, Jaarishiah, Ayneka, Shakera, Athena, Lezeth, Sebastian, Anthony, Nathan, Mark, Naomi, David, Ruby, Ethan, Elizabeth, Victoria, Sarah and Charli.
Olive was a loving, compassionate woman. She was hard working, resourceful, and above all God fearing. Her faith and love for Jehovah were the foundation and pillars of her life. Olive faced many challenges in life and all were handled with grace, prayer, and her ever present smile. She was an amazing and adored mother and grandmother, a wonderful cook and a creative homemaker while working as a nurses aid outside the home to help support the family. She always had an interesting life story to share and a lesson in something to teach. She blessed her children with unconditional love, unending prayers, ready hugs, and favorite foods, even when that meant making two or three dishes for dinner. She had no living siblings, but her brothers and sisters in the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses were as dear as any sibling could be. Olive will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched and often altered in her 84 years on this planet.
